Skeleton Psychosis

I made this collection in the psychiatric hospital with the tiny bendy safety pen I was allowed to use, plus art markers and paper under supervision. Creating while sitting up was physically difficult with my chronic back pain, but access to those simple supplies brought me real happiness. In a place where everyone’s skeletons felt outside their closets, these bright figures appeared one after another — reminders that it is possible to notice something good inside a painful moment and to feel grateful for small things we often take for granted.
